Primary Care

The Student Health Clinic is able to handle many of Georgia State students’ primary healthcare needs. Several of the primary care services are listed below. The clinic also offers a variety of other services, such as women’s healthcare, men’s healthcare, prescriptions, immunizations and testing to ensure their physical well-being.

The clinic provides physicals for the various school programs including: athletic, study abroad, nursing, respiratory therapy and individual physicals. Appointments can be made online or by calling 404-413-1930.

Chronic Diseases
Board certified providers offer comprehensive care to patients with chronic medical problems such as diabetes, asthma or hypertension. Appointments are recommended and can be made online or by calling 404-413-1930.

Acute Diseases
The clinic is available to take care of acute illness. Board certified providers are able to provide treatment and management of non-life threatening acute illnesses. Appointments are recommended. However, students who are ill and need to see a physician urgently can make appointments online or by calling 404-413-1930.  Due to coronavirus precautions, walk-in visits are on hold.

Referrals to Specialists
Sometimes students may need to be referred to a specialist. The Student Health Clinic will refer students to a specialist when needed whether or not they are insured by the university.
