The Georgia State University Health Clinic provides Sports Physical Clearance for our athletes. It is a specialized, focused health assessment which screens for orthopedic or medical problems that could potentially harm the student athlete.They are offered by appointment only at: 404-413-1930.
Study Abroad Physicals
The Georgia State University Health Clinic provides study abroad physicals and immunizations review for students studying aboard. They are offered by appointment only at: 404-413-1930.
Our Board Certified Providers offer comprehensive care to our patients with chronic medical problems such as diabetes, asthma, or hypertension. Appointments are recommended at: 404-413-1930.
The Georgia State University Health Clinic is available to take care of acute illness. Our board certified providers are able to provide treatment and management of non-life threatening acute illnesses. Appointments are recommended, however if you are ill and need to see a physician urgently,you may come in on a walk- in basis. Appointments can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
A variety of health education topics are available for group presentations. Please contact the clinic to schedule a topic for your group’s presentation.
Referrals to Specialists
There are times that you may need to be referred to specialists. If you have the school insurance, we can refer you to specialists in the area. If you do not have the school insurance, we will work with your primary care provider and your insurance, to insure that you are referred to the appropriate specialists.
