The Georgia State University Student Health Clinic is able to handle many of your primary healthcare needs. Several of our primary care services are listed below. The Student Health Clinic also offers a variety of other services such as women’s healthcare, men’s healthcare, prescriptions, immunizations, and testing to ensure your physical well-being.
The clinic provides physicals for the various school programs. Whether you need a nursing, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, or transfer physical, they are offered by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
The clinic provides Sports Physical Clearance for our athletes. It is a specialized, focused health assessment which screens for orthopedic or medical problems that could potentially harm the student athlete. They are offered by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
Study Abroad Physicals
The Georgia State University Student Health Clinic provides study abroad physicals and immunizations review for students studying aboard. They are offered by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
Our Board Certified Providers offer comprehensive care to our patients with chronic medical problems such as diabetes, asthma, or hypertension. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
The clinic is available to take care of acute illness. Our board certified providers are able to provide treatment and management of non-life threatening acute illnesses. Appointments are recommended; however if you are ill and need to see a physician urgently,you may come in on a walk- in basis. Appointments can be made by calling 404-413-1930.
Referrals to Specialists
There are times that you may need to be referred to a specialist. We will refer you to a specialist regardless if you are insured through the university or not.
