The Student Health Clinics at Perimeter College at Georgia State University opened in 2011. The mission of the Student Health Clinics is to assist students in accessing health care, thereby strengthening students’ success by promoting, maintaining and improving student health thus building a healthier student body. The clinics strive to help each student attain his or her best possible health. The Student Health Clinics provide courteous, professional, and prompt services and quality healthcare at low to no cost. Check out Student Health Clinic Fees.
The clinics are led by a medical director and staffed with a nurse practitioner, registered nurse and medical assistant to address students’ healthcare needs. The friendly front office staff assist students with scheduling appointments. The clinics are located on the Clarkston Campus in H building, Room 1800, and on the Dunwoody Campus in T building (NT Trailer). The mobile clinic serves the Alpharetta, Decatur and Newton Campuses. Take advantage of the great services offered by the Student Health Clinics.
Appointments: In order to serve everyone efficiently, students should schedule an appointment. This helps the Student Health Clinics maximize the amount of time that each student can spend with providers, while minimizing the amount of time each student spends waiting. Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to check in at the sign-in kiosks. Students who are unable to make their appointment or are going to be late should call and let the clinic staff know in order to avoid a $5 fee. Students who are going to be arrive more than 15 minutes late should reschedule their appointment.
